There are 7 natural wood buttons and the steeked edges (that is where the knitting is cut) are sewn and faced with grosgrain ribbon.Sizing: All babies are different, but this should fit most 12-24 mos olds. Actual measurements are 24" around, 8" from underarm to cuff, and 13" from the base of the neck to the hem.
